It's Game Day in Green Bay. Tonight's IFL Playoffs second-round game between the three-seed Reading Express and two-seed Green Bay Blizzard at the Resch Center is, to date, the biggest game of the Express' 2011 season. Obviously... A win tonight will vault the Express into the IFL's United Conference championship game on Saturday, July 9.
The Express proved last week with their 76-33 whooping of the Chicago Slaughter in the first round that the Reading squad is definitely a team to be reckoned with. That Slaughter game was easily the most-exciting one of the season. Tonight, though, the focus is on Green Bay.
Kickoff is slated for 8:30 p.m. EST.
Express Nation can follow all the action from the Resch Center in three different ways:
Live PPV Webcast
This may be a pay-per-view Webcast, but the Blizzard do it as well as anybody else in the league. Click on the top link, pay your $8 (to America One), and sit back and watch some IFL action. Once you've got the game window up, you can even sneak a peek at the Sioux Falls Storm-Omaha Beef game. The winner of the Express-Blizzard game will move on to face either the winner of Beef-Storm.
Live Scoring
If you want regular updates without forking over any dough, then Live Scoring is a great way to stay informed on the game. Follow the link to the IFL's Pointstreak page to get the latest scores from Express-Blizzard, and you can also trek with Beef-Storm. If you click through to the "Game Live" page, you'll get a break down of all that's happening with the game.
Facebook
We will provide quarter break updates of the game on the Reading Express Facebook page. Check in on the score, leave a comment and enjoy the conversation.
