Reading Express Owner Ted Lavender and General Manager Tim Glase are traveling to Chicago this week for their second trip to the annual IFL League Meetings. After an IFL seson under the belt, the Express are looking forward to further contributing to the direction of the league. Perhaps the best news for Express Nation is that these meetings will lay the ground work for our 2012 schedule. So stay tuned...

Richmond, Va. - : Having just completed its third season, the Indoor Football League Office and its Member Teams embark for Chicago to participate in the League’s Fourth Annual League Meetings. With a track record second to none in Indoor Football, the theme of the meetings will be “Unity, Stability and Profitability.”
The meetings will be held Thursday through Saturday on the “Magnificent Mile” in historic downtown Chicago. Topics to be discussed include increasing the fan experience, division alignments, playoff format, and the 2012 regular season schedule. Highlighting the weekend will be a training seminar led by renowned Sales Head Coach Greg Bennett.
“This is a very exciting time in the history of the Indoor Football League,” stated IFL Commissioner Tommy Benizio. “Heading into year four we are stronger now than ever and at these meetings we will build upon our framework for continued growth and success.”
