Students Take Part In Breakfast Challenge
SPRING TWP., Pa. -- Players from the Reading Express indoor football team are encouraging kids to get on the right track.
Some members of the 2009 national champions spoke to students at Green Valley and Cornwall Terrace elementary schools this morning.
Last month, both schools increased participation in their breakfast programs.
Players told students why breakfast is such an important way to start the day.
Try to educate them on dairy and living a good lifestyle and eating a good breakfast, said Tony Genoble. Then, towards the end of the presentation we do some calisthenics to show them what it's all about.
The team's mascot "Caboose" also stopped by to help kids get active.
